Gulfcom Inc. is a digital satellite signal distributor, servicing the commercial sector
of the Broadcasting, I.P. and Cable Industries primarily across Canada, the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. Gulfcom is currenlty expanding into South America.
Gulfcom was originally established as an expansion of Canadian Satellite Communications
Inc.(Cancom) businesses internationally. Cancoms commercial digital platform and sales representation businesses were set up to service Canadas different geographical and cultural regions with customized sets of regionally relevant, time zoned sensitive, television and radio signals. Gulfcom was set up to expand this mandate to include other parts of the Americas. Gulfcom's ownership is now completely separate from Cancom, however it still represents Cancom Signal Services to Caribbean Cable systems.
Gulfcoms key personnel have collectively more than 100 years of experience and
successes in the North American Telecommunication's Industry.
Gulfcoms main focus is providing remote, small or niche commercial markets/customers
with satellite communications. We have a proven and respected track record of performance across North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Gulfcom's North American network is currently on the AMC-3 Satellite in C-Band, which is a
strong and robust signal available to all cable systems. It is the same satellite used by most other US based Superstations. Gulfcoms South American network is currently planning to use the AMC-12 Satellite in C-Band.

The signals are digitized and encoded using the Scientific Atlanta (S.A.) Digital Systems,
which are designed for commercial rather than residential applications. This system also allows for ease of conversion to most local digital platforms.
As part of Gulfcoms satellite communications service we build and maintain our own and
customers' uplinks.
We also provide sales and customer service representation for other satellite distributors to
our niche markets.
Gulfcom is an independent, third party, non-aligned Satellite Distribution and
Representation Business. We have no external conflicts of interests because we are not owned or controlled by any of the customers to whom we sell - Cable, Telco or Broadcaster based.
Gulfcom is a niche service provider; Gulfcom needs and values its customers. Our need
ensures Gulfcom will be proactive and innovative across all aspects of customer service. Our customers know we will go the extra mile and respond to their needs.
